Sense-ational!: The Art of the Five Senses

Explore how artists convey sight, smell, sound, taste, and touch in their masterpieces. This interactive exhibit will highlight art from Memphis’s art collection ranging from floral watercolor to Cubist prints. While you can't touch the art, you can touch the interactive elements of this show. Listen to the music that inspired Faith Ringgold, or smell the magnolias of a Walter Anderson painting.

All exhibitions at Memphis Brooks Museum of Art are underwritten by the MBMA Exhibition Fund.

Major annual support is provided by Mary Lee Copp Formanek and Maggie and Milton Lovell, with generous annual funding from Gloria and Kenneth Boyland, Deborah and Bob Craddock, Michael and Maria Douglass, Harry Goldsmith, Eleanor and William Halliday, Buzzy Hussey and Hal Brunt, Dr. James Patterson, Dr. Rushton Patterson, and Carl and Valerie Person.
